How are your caregivers screened and selected?
Certified Home Nursing Solutions LLC caregivers go through a two-step interviewing process. We check all references, personal and professional, with 2 of each being required for employment with “CHNS”. Our caregivers must have a satisfactory State/Federal background check. We also require our staff to provide a medical history, TB testing, CPR, AED, and First Aid.
Who pays for home care services?
Certified Home Nursing Solutions LLC’s methods of reimbursement for our Skilled Nursing services, Homemaker/Companion care services are through Private Pay. We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, personal checks, and money orders. We also work with most Long Term Care and health insurance companies, Workmans Comp and Veteran Choice Program.
Are you licensed?
Yes, we are licensed to operate as a Residential Service Agency 3 and Healthcare Staffing Agency.
Staff availability to work?
Certified Home Nursing Solutions LLC homemaker/companions are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week, 365 days a year including holidays. Our DON is also on call 24/7 by phone.
Our DON makes routine visits to check on the client and the Homemaker/Companion. She also makes routine calls to the client.
What type of training does your homemaker/companions complete?
Our staff completes 6 mandatory in-services. They are also required to have CNA, GNA, or completed a Core Caregivers Course and Personal Care Aide Course prior to working with any client.
We are a full training center that offers specialty certificates just to name a few: Dementia/ Alzheimer’s, HIV, Mental Health, Diabetes, Parkinson’s, End of Life, and Hospital Discharge. Our homemaker/companions are required to obtain certification within 30 days of being assigned to the client. However, in the partnering process, we will send the staff that is most qualified.
How soon can services start for my loved one?
We respond to calls immediately. Our DON is available for a visit within 24 hours to determine the client eligibility for service. Once that is established, we construct a care plan. A Homemaker/Companion caregiver or Skilled Nurse can start tomorrow.
Are you all a Franchise?
No, we are not franchised, but a large team of professionals support us. 21st Century Health Care Consultants is our consultant company and they provide us with ongoing training. We have also partnered with Institute for Professional Care Education (IPCED). They provide top-notch education to our Homemaker/Companions.
